Terms of service
1. Who you're dealing with
CamVitals is provided by Conocido B.V., Turfschipper 97, 2292 JK Wateringen, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 27168795), "we" or "us". These terms apply to every use of CamVitals by a business, "you". CamVitals is meant for businesses, not for consumers.
2. Trial
You can try CamVitals free of charge for 30 days. Nothing is charged automatically: when the trial ends, monitoring stops unless we have agreed a paid subscription. We may end or refuse a trial at our discretion.
3. Paid use
Prices are agreed per customer in a quote and depend on the number of systems and cameras. The quote states the price, term and billing period. Unless the quote says otherwise, a subscription runs per month and can be cancelled at the end of any month.
4. Your account and your systems
You are responsible for the users you add and for keeping login details safe. You may only connect systems you are entitled to manage, and you are responsible for having the right basis to let us process the personal data in those systems (such as user lists and, if you enable image quality checks, camera images). Our privacy policy describes what we process; on request we sign a data processing agreement with you.
5. What CamVitals does and doesn't do
CamVitals reads status information from your systems through Nx Cloud and alerts you about problems it detects. It does not replace your own maintenance, and it depends on Nx Cloud and on your systems being reachable. Hardware assessments and image quality results are generated with AI and are advice, not a guarantee.
6. Availability
We aim to keep CamVitals available at all times and to fix problems quickly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance is done outside office hours where possible.
7. Liability
CamVitals helps you notice problems sooner; it cannot prevent them. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, such as lost recordings, lost profit or claims from your customers. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event, and is excluded entirely during a free trial. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence.
8. Ending
You can end your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end an account that is used in breach of these terms. After ending, we delete your data on request, as described in the privacy policy.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. We'll inform account owners by email at least 30 days before a change that is to your disadvantage takes effect.
10. Law
Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in The Hague, the Netherlands.
