Privacy policy
Who we are
CamVitals is a service of Conocido B.V., Turfschipper 97, 2292 JK Wateringen, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 27168795. Questions about this policy or your data: support@conocido.nl.
When you use CamVitals to monitor your own or your customers' systems, you decide what is monitored. For the personal data in those systems we act as your processor; for your account details we are the controller.
What we store
- Your account: company name, the names and email addresses of the users you add, their role, and a hashed password.
- Your Nx Cloud login: the email address and password you connect with, stored encrypted. We use it only to read the status of your systems.
- System and camera details: names, models, firmware, IP and MAC addresses, licences, online and recording status, and an hourly status history.
- Nx user lists: for each system, the Nx Cloud and local users with name, email address, role and last login, so you can review who has access.
- Camera images, only if you turn on image quality checks (Pulse AI) for a system: a still image per camera, up to three times a day, stored with the check result.
We do not store video. A thumbnail you open in the dashboard is fetched live and not kept.
What we use it for
To run the service: show your dashboard, send the alerts you asked for, keep the status history, assess hardware and, if enabled, check image quality. We also email you about your account and trial. We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.
Where it is processed
- UpCloud hosts CamVitals in a data centre in the Netherlands. All data above is stored there.
- Twilio SendGrid (United States) delivers our emails, such as alerts and trial reminders.
- Anthropic (United States) provides the AI that assesses hardware models (it receives only the manufacturer and model name) and, if image quality checks are enabled, analyses the camera still.
- Network Optix (Nx Cloud) is where we read your system data from, under your own agreement with them.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. If you end your account or decide not to continue after your trial, we delete your data on request; email support@conocido.nl. We keep what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Your Nx Cloud password is stored encrypted, and passwords for CamVitals are stored as a one-way hash. Each customer can only see their own systems.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@conocido.nl. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your own country.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we'll let account owners know by email.
